Pediatrics
At Kaufman Allergy, we care for our pediatric patients like a parent cares for their child. Our physicians received extensive specialty training in pediatric allergy and immunology at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans, Children’s National Medical Center, and Seattle Children’s Hospital, all distinguished centers of excellence and Jeffrey Modell Diagnostic Centers for immunodeficiencies. Our providers are personable, knowledgeable, caring and patient, and help our pediatric patients to feel comfortable and at ease while receiving care in our practice.
Adults
At Kaufman Allergy, we provide compassionate, evidence-based care for patients with allergic and immunologic conditions. Our board-certified allergist–immunologists are uniquely trained to care for both children and adults and to evaluate conditions that fall clearly within the scope of Allergy and Immunology.
We take pride in thoughtful communication, careful clinical reasoning, and developing individualized care plans that are grounded in established science and best practices. While many allergic and immunologic conditions can be complex, our practice is focused on disorders with a clear allergic or immune-based cause. We do not evaluate or manage undifferentiated or multisystem illnesses that are not clearly attributable to allergic or immunologic disease, and in those situations, we may recommend care through other appropriate medical specialties.
This approach allows us to provide high-quality, specialized care to patients most likely to benefit from allergy and immunology expertise.
